Saturday, August 28th, 2010Whenever you go to big events, you would always notice that there are these humungous lighting fixture hanging above the grand ballroom. Hotel lobbies never look good without this big lighting fixture as well. When you are over at a friend’s house, you would also very well notice that this lighting fixture hangs in the dining room or in the living room. Everyone simply could not get enough of the chandeliers. That is something that is rather not surprising because of the stylish made-up of these lights. However, aside from the pretty and sophisticated faade, there is a lot more to this lighting than what you probably know. Here are a few of the interesting things about the lighting fixture that everyone has come to love:
The very early form of a chandelier is one which is built of wooden sticks having a candle affixed at the end of each. The sticks are formed into a cross having a number of spikes on it to hold the candles. Before, the light is not truly hanged but merely raised. The actual candles usually burn out in a few minutes. Therefore, replacing them is really necessary.
