Bathroom sinks tend to clog more than other sinks in your home. This can partly be true due to the large amount of hair that falls through the sink. Here are some steps you should follow to clear the clog of your bathroom sink.
Use a plunger to unclog a minor problem. Try this first, since it doesn’t require you to take the sink apart. Just add some water to the sink bowl and then plunge.
Force cup plunger is one of the best choices to be used as a plunger. You need to plunge the sink at least four to five times before draining of the sink bowl. If your clog gets cleared like this then pour hot water from that sink to ensure that the problem is solved.
In case the problem of clogged sink drain is still not solved then you need to dismantle the sink trap. Basically you need to dismantle your p-trap (it is a pipe that dips low and then curves) that can be taken off with a pipe wrench.

When you would think about the purity of your distilled water then the answer will depend on your view about the pure water. If you will purify the water by 100% then it will not contain anything except H20. It will remove even those minerals that are good and essential for your body.
The naturally occurring water on the planet contains some degree of dissolved minerals. Those minerals contribute to build a good health. They are referred as electrolytes inside your body. The two most important minerals are sodium and potassium.
The distillation process will remove dissolved minerals and anything that has boiling point higher than water. Some chemicals like chlorine and its byproducts cannot be removed with distillation alone. To completely remove chlorine from the water additional steps would have to be taken.
When a pure water solution for drinking is required, you would want one that is free of all chemical contaminants, while retaining the trace minerals. This is pretty opposite of what results from distillation. A pure water solution without trace minerals is useful in certain industrial settings and other applications.

Ignorant homeowners don’t consider the maintenance job of their fixtures an important task. Due to lack of proper maintenance, fixtures start to show irregularities. At this point of time, some of them wake up and hire a professional to undertake the concerned repair work. Such a hefty investment can be avoided if the plumbing setup is maintained properly from the very onset. With few easy and straightforward tips, you can save yourself from all such problems.
Always try to safeguard your drains by keeping them covered with stoppers. A stopper is a great way to check the entrance of grime, hair and other waste food materials in the drain. These materials go into the drain and amass together to block the pipe. Stoppers stop almost all the big-sized particles but small particles still evade the stoppers’ barrier. Such particles need to be removed manually with hands.
Leakage of sink taps is another irksome problem. To solve this problem, you have to tighten up the tap. If however the neck of the tap appears well-tightened then replace the weary washer to solve the problem.

You would not want your electrical appliances to suffer any damage due to short-circuit or any other electrical fault. To safeguard the electrical appliances, you can use either a fuse or a circuit breaker. Fuses are outdated alternative and are fast losing out to the more sophisticated circuit breakers.
Everybody knows that when current flows through any substance including a wire in our case, it generates heat. The amount of heat produced is directly proportional to the amount of current flowing. Also, flowing current from a wire creates a magnetic field around the conducting medium. Higher the current flow, more is the magnetic field. These are the two basic principles of modern day circuit breakers.
The circuit breaker cuts off the flow of current for an appliance as soon as the device malfunctions. There is a switch that is used to operate a circuit breaker. Each switch uses four positions explicitly: on, off, tripped and reset. While the ‘On’ and ‘off’ positions are described in some way on the face of the switch, the tripped position may be marked red on the switch or may lie between the on and off positions. To reset, gently change the position of the switch to the off direction and a clicking sound would confirm the resetting of the breaker.
